Mele Kalikimaka!

Tis the day before Christmas and Mom’s on a mission
In Hawaii she serves where she’s doing some fishin’.

She’s casting her rod into the ocean of men
And when catches them, know what she’ll do then?

She’s working, she’s praying, using her voice to sing
Glory to God, peace on earth, Jesus Christ is your King!

She testifies of that first Christmas night
When Jesus our Lord came to do what is right.

She teaches of His example, how He showed us the way,
To our Father in Heaven who loves us always.

She tells how He paid for our sins which, ourselves, we can’t do,
By dying and shedding His blood for me and you.

The work that she’s doing is very important
Support from her family she surely does warrant.

It’s just not the same, all her children do whine
To be without Mom during Christmastime!

But we know in our hearts she’s where she should be
Only eight more months we chant gleefully.

Survive without mom, well at least the girls can
I don’t know about Sean, Steve, Kevin, Gary and Ryan.

Mom taught us all about sacrifice
For her we’ll endure, memories will have to suffice.

We’ll hold on to our traditions and make Christmas Day
A time for celebration, our gratitude on display.

So even though our family is spread thin
We’ll all remember how blessed we’ve been,

To have a mother who has always been there
So for just a short while with the world we can share

With hearts joined together to our mom we all say
Merry Christmas, we love you, thanks for showing us the way

To always keep Christmas alive in our heart
By loving, by serving, being faithful and stalwart.

Merry Christmas Mom!
Till Tomorrow,
Holley
