When I buy something new I almost never read the instructions, and this little personality quirk has gotten me into no end of trouble. I just bought some tablets called "Airborne" (they're supposed to keep you from getting a cold), and out of sheer boredom I happened to glance at the package as I popped one in my mouth. At the exact moment my eyes were registering “dissolve tablet in 8 oz. glass of water” my mouth exploded into a million pieces and orange-flavored effervescent globs shot out my nose.
Note to self: do not eat straight from the package.
